Man Indicted In Friend's Death In Bergen County After ZZ Top Concert
Jared Clackner allegedly told police he hit the victim as hard as he could multiple times, report says.

A longtime North Jersey resident has been indicted on charges of aggravated manslaughter and leaving the scene after causing bodily injury after his friend died when the two were driving home in Englewood from a ZZ Top concert.
According to Northjersey.com, Jared Clackner, who has been confined to his home with a monitoring bracelet since March, was officially charged in the March incident where Clackner, 53, and his friend William Henning, were on Route 80 in Englewood when the vehicle crashed into a guard rail.
After Henning, the driver, allegedly crashed, the two got into an altercation. While the cause of death has not been revealed, Henning suffered three broken ribs and visible signs of blunt force trauma, the report said.

Clackner allegedly left the scene, but returned when police arrived, and allegedly told authorities he hit Henning, 61, as hard as he could multiple times, the report said.
Clackner, of Denville, is married with two children, the report said.
