Officials Encourage Residents To Fight Against Teterboro Flight Plan
Noise from low-flying aircraft remains a major concern.

RAMSEY, N.J. – A new flight plan for inbound planes to Teterboro Airport continues to draw the err of local officials and residents.
The new flight plan brings planes extremely low — as low as just a few thousand feet — over Ramsey, Mahwah, Ridgewood, Paramus, and the surrounding area. Plans now avoid Hackensack University Medical Center, but fly over six schools and the Valley Hospital in Ridgewood.
The plan, which was implemented earlier this month, is in a six-month testing phase. It may become permanent after that.
