Over-Exercising Can Decrease Your Immunity
Regular exercise can improve your immunity, but over-exercising can reduce immune function.

There is a Goldilocks Zone for exercise, which is not too little and not too much.
Research shows that regular moderate exercise or physical activity can increase your immune function and decrease the number of sick days by as much as 50%. The bad news is that overdoing exercise can have the opposite effect, by rendering you more vulnerable to pathogens.
Over-training can also tax your adrenals and contribute to adrenal burnout, increase inflammation, which is present in all chronic disease and overtax your heart.

Be smart and exercise regularly, but don't overdo it.
If you are sedentary, or inactive, you should consult your primary care physician prior to starting any exercise program. To avoid injuries, it is also advisable that you start exercising a little at a time and gradually increase your exercise time and your exercise intensity.
