Police: Body Of Bergen County Man Found In Hudson River
Timothy Hamlett, a former Don Bosco High School track star, went missing five months ago.

The body of Teaneck man who went missing five months ago was found in the Hudson River, township police announced Monday night.
The body of Timothy Hamlett, a member of the University of Pennsylvania’s track team, was pulled out of the Hudson River Friday,NorthJersey.com reported.
The New York City Medical Examiner’s Office ruled Hamlett’s cause of death to be “suicide by drowning,” Teaneck Chief Robert Carney said in a press release.

Hamlett’s Archibald and Katherine Hamlett announced “with heavy, heavy hearts” on Facebook that their son’s body was removed from the River. The family created the page to share information about the case.
“Please know that we are comforted by your prayers, support, the wonderful memories of extraordinary joy that we shared with our son, and of course, God’s healing grace and love,” a post on the Facebook page said.

A celebration of Hamlett’s life will be held at Community Baptist Church in Englewood Friday, June 12 from 5 to 7 p.m.; arrangements are being made by Nesbitt Funeral Home in Englewood.
