Ramsey Hands Out 'Volunteer of the Year' Awards
Dozens were thanked for their service to the community
Ramsey borough hall was standing room only Wednesday night as the mayor and council acknowledged the contributions of the 2012 Volunteers of the Year.
Volunteer organizations in Ramsey were invited to nominate one member each who has gone above and beyond this year to help the organization give back to the town.
Mayor Chris Botta, who presented certificates to the night’s honorees, thanked all of the borough’s volunteers for their “true dedication. It is a symbol of our great community,” he told a crowd of over 100 volunteers and their family members Wednesday.

“The one hour we give them, for all of the hours they volunteer for us, is a really good return on our investment,” Jones said of the annual event.
