Stop Hunger Now at St. John's, Ramsey

Help make a difference and Stop Hunger Now

On Saturday 27th September, St John’s Episcopal church in Ramsey will be hosting a meal packaging event for Stop Hunger Now.

Stop Hunger Now is a humanitarian aid organization providing millions of nutritious meals to families in need across the globe, typically to schools, orphanages, nurseries and medical clinics

During a meal packaging event, volunteers form a production line to pack bags ready for shipment. Each 6 serving bag includes rice, soy, dehydrated vegetables and a flavoring mix with 21 essential vitamins and minerals and has a shelf life of 2 years.

It’s a fun event that all the family can participate in from preschoolers to seniors…..there’s a job for everyone. And at the end of 2 hours, you have the satisfaction of having helped pack 10,000 meals and helped families in need.

We ask each participant / family make a minimum donation of $10 which goes towards funding the $2,500 cost of the 10,000 meals.

The event is at 10am on Saturday 27th September……all are welcome.
