Is There Such a Thing as Organic Honey?
With all of the pesticides out there today, it is virtually impossible to find true organic honey.

Even though it would be a great idea, you can't tell a bee to only visit organic flowers. The fact is that bees, honey and humans are all full of pesticides. Even if you eat all organic food, you are still being exposed to pesticides. Pesticides are even in our water supply, so any irrigation of crops will be supplying pesticides to that crop. Bees may be exposed to about 32 pesticides, while they are collecting pollen.

If bees are exposed to nearly three dozen pesticides while collecting pollen, humans are likely exposed to multiple pesticides from the environment as well, including in our food.
One of the most common and toxic pesticides is glyphosate, the active ingredient in Monsanto's Roundup herbicide and the most-used agricultural chemical in history.

In 2014, farmers sprayed enough glyphosate to apply 0.8 pounds of the chemical to every acre of cultivated cropland in the U.S., and nearly 0.5 a pound of glyphosate to all crops worldwide.
In March 2015, the International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC), determined that glyphosate is a "probable carcinogen", as did The World Health Organization (WHO), which is part of The United Nations.
