Books And Pencils Return As Randolph Students Head Back To School Next Week
The new school year begins next Wednesday, followed by an early dismissal Friday and a long Labor Day weekend.
RANDOLPH, NJ — Schoolbooks, pencils and calculators are coming out as Randolph students return to class next Wednesday for the 2026-27 school year.
The year begins across the district’s six schools: Randolph High School, Randolph Middle School and Center Grove, Fernbrook, Ironia and Shongum elementary schools.
Teachers return next Monday, followed by the district’s opening day Tuesday. Then it is the students’ turn to fill the hallways, meet their teachers and settle into classroom routines Wednesday.

Families should keep an eye on the district calendar during the opening week. Students will have an early dismissal Friday, giving them a gentler start before the first full week of classes. Schools will then be closed the following Monday in observance of Labor Day.
