GMM Habitat for Humanity Welcomes Two New Team Members to Strengthen Development and Stewardship Efforts
Strategic hires reflect GMM Habitat's commitment to expanding its capacity to engage supporters, secure resources, and advance mission.
Greater Middlesex & Morris Habitat for Humanity, (GMM Habitat) a leading builder and advocate for affordable housing in New Jersey, is pleased to announce the addition of Beth Hancock and Meredith Holly to its Development team. These strategic hires reflect the organization’s commitment to expanding its capacity to engage supporters, secure resources, and advance its mission of providing affordable housing for families in need.
Beth Hancock, Director of Stewardship and Giving, is a seasoned development executive with more than 20 years of experience in philanthropy, community engagement and advancement. Most recently, Hancock served as Director of Advancement at Rutgers Hillel. A longtime Habitat supporter, she is passionate about connecting donors to meaningful impact and strengthening relationships that advance the organization’s mission. Hancock lives in Morris Plains, N.J. with her family.
Meredith Holly, Senior Development Specialist, has decades of professional experience spanning marketing, video production and real estate. Holly brings a strong track record of building relationships and engaging communities. A dedicated Habitat volunteer, she joins the organization with a deep appreciation for its work and a shared commitment to addressing New Jersey’s affordable housing challenges. Meredith will focus on cultivating donor relationships to help expand Habitat’s impact. She resides in Boonton, NJ.

Greater Middlesex & Morris Habitat for Humanity (GMM Habitat) is part of a global, nonprofit housing organization, Habitat for Humanity International, committed to building homes, communities, and hope. The organization, which is one of the leading builders of affordable housing in New Jersey, serves 68 municipalities in Morris and Middlesex Counties and the greater Plainfield area. Through volunteer labor and monetary donations and materials, GMM Habitat builds affordable new homes and provides home repair services to income-eligible families and individuals. Now in its 41st year, GMM Habitat has served 1,331 families through building more than 214 local homes, preserving more than 687 homes for low-income homeowners and seniors, and helping 430 families with housing solutions worldwide. The local affiliate organization has engaged more than 150,000 volunteers in its various programs. GMM Habitat also operates a successful ReStore, a retail home improvement and furnishings outlet in Randolph, which has kept 23,805 tons of reusable materials out of landfills and funded 45 homes since 2007.
