Randolph District Celebrates Coach Of The Year, Scholar-Athlete Honors

Softball coach Ashley Kanya and varsity soccer players Carlie Wysocki and RJ Dougherty were among those recognized.

RANDOLPH, NJ — Randolph High School's athletic community had plenty to celebrate at a recent Night of Recognition, with softball coach Ashley Kanya and two standout student-athletes all earning top honors.

Kanya was named Morris County Coach of the Year, a distinction that recognizes leadership, dedication, and success in one of New Jersey's most competitive high school sports landscapes.

The evening also honored Randolph's Class of 2026 Scholar-Athletes: Carlie Wysocki and RJ Dougherty, both standout varsity soccer players. The award recognizes exceptional achievement in the classroom and on the field, and both students were celebrated as they prepare to graduate.

"These honors reflect the hard work, character and commitment that define Randolph athletics," the school district said on Facebook. "We're proud to celebrate our Rams who continue to excel in competition, academics and leadership."
