Man Arrested After Getting Drugs In Mail, Prosecutor Says (patch.com) — A Readington man was arrested after authorities coordinated a controlled delivery of two mail packages that reportedly tested positive for controlled substances at a Readington Township address. County and federal investigators say the 47-year-old faces multiple drug possession and distribution-related charges, with potential multi-year prison terms and significant fines, and they're asking anyone with information to contact the Hunterdon County Prosecutor's Office.
   

• Whitehouse Rescue Squad adds sensory bags to ambulances to assist patients (wrnjradio.com) — Readington Township's Whitehouse Rescue Squad has equipped all of its ambulances with new sensory bags to better support patients with autism and other sensory or communication needs. The bags include headphones, sunglasses, fidget items, and communication tools, giving local first responders more ways to calm and communicate with residents during stressful emergencies.
   

• Congressman Kean Hosts Eagle Scout and Girl Scout Gold Award Event in Readington (tapinto.net) — Readington residents recently hosted a district-wide celebration at the Readington Municipal Building, where Congressman Tom Kean Jr. honored 20 Eagle Scouts and Girl Scout Gold Award recipients from across the 7th Congressional District. Local leader and Eagle Scout Adam Mueller helped present flags flown over the U.S. Capitol, as Scouts and families gathered to recognize years of service, leadership, and community projects.
