Affordable Housing Lotto Opens For Luxury Red Bank Apartments

RED BANK, NJ - A brand-new luxury building in Red Bank is slated to begin leasing units next year, including six affordable apartments. Prospective tenants can now apply to be included on the rental waiting list.

"The Rail” apartment complex is located steps from the Red Bank train station and is set to house 57 luxury units, a two-level parking garage and 6,000 square feet of retail on the ground level.

Six affordable apartment units will be available in early 2021: two moderate-income apartments, two low-income apartments and two very low-income apartments.

Residents will be able to enjoy two amenity decks, a fitness center, yoga studio, club room, bike storage, a dog wash station and a game room. Each unit will tout stainless steel appliances, wood flooring, tile bathrooms, quartz/granite countertops, in-unit washers and dryers, and heating/cooling systems. Pets will be allowed with restrictions.

Monmouth, Mercer and Ocean county residents and workers will have a priority over others.

Applications must be received by Dec. 15 to be included in a random lottery number drawing to determine priority order. Preliminary applications can be filled out here.
