If you are a low or middle-income taxpayer and have a simple tax return and need help preparing your taxes than an AARP assistance program at the Monmouth County Library Eastern Branch, the library's headquarters in Manalapan and library branch in Wall is for you.
AARP volunteers will provide free income tax preparation at the Eastern Branch at 1001 Route 35, Shrewsbury, the library's headquarters at 125 Symmes Drive, Manalapan and the branch in Wall Township.
The program runs through April 14. The schedule varies at each branch, so call the American Association for Retired Persons at 888-687-2277.

Preparations will be done in a first-come, first served basis. You do not need to be a senior citizen to have your tax return done by the AARP. Bring last year's income tax returns with you.
