
Ruby Richardson, 70, of Red Bank, died on April 3, 2011 at Riverview Medical Center, Red Bank. Ruby moved to the borough 45 years ago. She was born in South Miami, FL on October 23, 1940. She was employed as a Human Service Technician. After many years of dedicated service, Ruby retired from Marlboro Psychiatric Hospital, Marlboro. She was a hard working woman and very well loved by all who knew her. She will be truly missed.
Ruby was predeceased by her parents, Otis and Mae Rose Richardson; four sisters, Leida Norflee, Lillian Reevey, Willie Bell Cole, and Eleanor Scott and one brother, Otis Richardson. She is survived by a son, Kelsey P. Richardson, a daughter, Kimberly A. Richrdson, a special nephew, Phillip Richardson Jr., a brother, Robert Richardson Sr., and his wife, Julie; two sisters, Rosetta Higgs and Lucille Simmons, a sister-in-law, Barbara Richardson as well as a host of nieces and nephews.
A viewing for Mrs. Richardson will be held from 10:00 a.m. until Noon on April 28 at Childs Funeral Home, 364 Shrewsbury Avenue, Red Bank. The funeral service will be at noon immediately following the viewing hours. Internment will take place at White Ridge Cemetery, Eatontown. The Richardson would like to express their appreciation to the community at large for their outpouring of love and support during their time of bereavement.
