All History is Local: The Sand Hill Indians and the Minisink Trail

The history of the Sand Hill Indians living on the northern shores of Monmouth County can be traced back to the 1700s.  The Minisink Trail, which crosses Monmouth County, was a major migration and trade route, a small part of which still exists unpaved.  Presented by Claire Garland, Director of Sand Hill Indian Historical Association.
