Join us for this free presentation to learn about benefits, programs, resources, and services available to eligible Monmouth County residents, including:
<ul><li>Older adults ages 60 and up</li><li>Adults with disabilities ages 18–59</li><li>Veterans and their dependents, including surviving spouses of deceased veterans</li><li>Caregivers</li></ul>
Topics will include nutrition assistance, medical transportation, home and respite care, Medicare counseling, and more. Relevant printed informational materials will also be available. The Red Bank Family YMCA invites community members, families, friends, local businesses and supporters to come together for the 2026 Red Bank Family YMCA Community Celebration on Tuesday, October 6, from 6–8 p.m. at Proving Ground Waterfront Dining, 56 Shrewsbury Ave., Highlands, NJ. The evening will celebrate the people, partnerships and programs that help make our community stronger. 
This special event will also honor Jennifer Devi Chauhan, Executive Director of Project Write Now, as the recipient of the Red Triangle Award, recognizing her contributions and positive impact in the local community.All proceeds from the event support the Red Bank Y Annual Campaign, helping ensure that YMCA programs and services remain available to all who need them.

Join us for a fascinating look at this once-classified Cold War installation. The program will describe how the Nike missile system worked and what day-to-day life was like for the soldiers stationed there. It is a hidden piece of local history most people never knew existed. Presented by Bill Jackson, Fort Hancock Nike Association.

<h3>YMCA Child Achievement Fall Festival Brings Family Fun to Freehold</h3>
Families are invited to celebrate the season at the YMCA Child Achievement Fall Festival on Saturday, October 10, 2026, from 11 a.m.–2 p.m. at the Freehold Family YMCA. 
This outdoor fall festival offers activities for all ages, including:&nbsp;<ul><li>pumpkin painting</li><li>face painting</li><li>a fall photo booth</li><li>bouncy house</li><li>local vendors</li><li>fall games and crafts</li><li>donuts and cider</li></ul>
In addition to providing a fun day for local families, the event supports the YMCA’s Annual Campaign, which raises essential funds to help provide programs and services to children and families, regardless of their ability to pay.
