Jackson Resident Rod Colón Joins Board of Directors for Leading Nonprofit

The Community YMCA is pleased to announce the election of Rod Colón to its Board of Directors.

Colón, a Jackson resident, is a published author of the book “Win the Race for 21st Century Jobs.” He has over 25 years of experience in corporate human resources management, outside agency recruiting, professional networking, and career coaching. Colón hosts a new and interactive call-in radio show entitled “Own Your Career: The Weekly Summit for the CEO of Me, Inc.” and has also appeared on many news networks such as ABC-TV, News12, and Fox29. He is a graduate of Georgian Court University as well as a Georgian Court alumni honoree.

“We are pleased to welcome Rod as a new member of the Board of Directors,” said President and CEO Rhonda Anderson. “His focus and tremendous experience will help the board continue our cause to strengthen the lives of the people we serve in Monmouth County and beyond.”

The Board of Directors is responsible for establishing policies for The Community YMCA and providing leadership for financial development, strategic planning, operations and community collaborations.
