Suburban Survival Plant Walk, Red Bank, NJ with Dan Farella

We will walk from the farmers market and explore the ecology while Dan points out and teaches about all of the edible and medicinal plants that have some how become known as weeds. These plants offer tremendous food, healing, and nutrition, and are good to know in a time when organic, local, healthy, and sustainable often can become expensive. These plants are here; abundant and free. Come learn about their edible, survival, and medicinal applications. 

Where: Meet at The Red Bank Farmer’s Market located @ The Galleria, West Front Street, Red Bank, NJ. We will gather behind The Cinnamon Snail Food Truck @ 1:30 p.m. Walk will commence at 1:45 p.m., lasting for approximately 2-3 hours and will be within walking distance of the starting point.
