MONDAY, Jan. 25
Red Bank Borough Schools are closed Monday.
Red Bank Charter School is closed Monday.
Red Bank Regional High Schools is closed Monday.
Shrewsbury Elementary School is closed on Monday.
The Monmouth County Vocational Schools -- Academy of Allied Health Sciences, Communications High, High Tech High, Biotechnology High School, Marine Academy of Science and Technology, Academy of Law and Public Safety, and CLASS Academy -- are closed Monday.
Red Bank Catholic High School is closed on Monday.
St. John Vianney High School is closed on Monday.
Brookdale Community College is closed on Monday
Georgian Court University is closed on Monday.
Monmouth University is closed on Monday.
Sunday update:
The Red Bank area continues to dig out after 22 inches of snow pummeled it during the blizzard. A smattering of power outages remain; JCP&L hopes to resolve them by 9 p.m.
Saturday update:
Nearly a foot of snow has fallen in Red Bank as of midafternoon and the snow continues to fall hard. Scattered minor power outages are affecting the town.
CANCELLATIONS
All weekend activities and athletics at Red Bank Regional High School have been canceled.
The SAT test administrations scheduled for Saturday, Jan. 23, at Red Bank Regional High School, Red Bank Catholic High School and at Middletown High School North have been canceled. They are rescheduled for Saturday, Feb. 20.
CLOSINGS
No reported closings as of 3 p.m. Friday.
REMINDERS/TIPS
Residents are reminded to remove vehicles and sporting equipment from the streets so plowing can be completed as efficiently as possible.
Residents also are reminded to assist by removing snow from fire hydrants and storm drains during winter weather.
