"Max, Gabi, Heidi and Ethan are all remarkable young people who have enormous promise, and I am very proud of all of them," Menendez said in a release. "The Neubelts and all of New Jersey's young people who will enroll in our nation's military academies and programs possess exceptional talents and abilities."

The Neubelt quadruplets were among the 15 future military academy students  honored by the Senator at a special reception his the Newark office, according to the release.

Max and Heidi attend RBR; and Gabi and Ethan are students at the Marine Academy of Science and Technology (MAST) on Sandy Hook.

Max, Gabi, and Heidi were appointed to the United States Merchant Marine Academy, and Ethan enrolled in Rutgers University's Reserve Officers' Training Corps (ROTC) program.

The quadruplets live in Little Silver.
