The issue is that all are overseen by the Attorney General office. There's no separation of powers due to the bully NJ Governor and his/her executive branch and powers given the executive branch when NJ revised it's constitution. NJ used to have the weakest governor /executive branch prior to be granted overwhelming powers over the citizens of our State. NJ now has by far the strongest Executive branch of all 50 states. This is fact! This is fact and so Absolute Power Corrupts. NJ deputy Attorney General James Flanagan at his closing statement was aware of the humiliation he had already caused during Trial. He never would be allowed to try another case again for State. All witnesses were either stopped by the judge and not allowed to continue testifying or admitted they were told what to say. It's not a coincidence that after Weber's lawyers humiliated the division of Insurance Fraud( actually put together by Weber's wife's attorney ) and also a branch of the division of consumer affairs along with NJ Board Of Dentistry who all answer to the NJ Attorney General office which is within the executive branch and all are overseen by our Governor. That's why in NY a Dentist was simultaneously on trial for Medicaid and Insurance fraud who also was acquitted were treated very different after both found not guilty. The NY dentist went back to practice dentistry and won a $50M malicious award. Weber and wife hired the same civil rights Attorney who after working with Weber's wife for 9 months experienced that No justice would ever be coming to Weber due to the laws protecting Corrupt Politicians and apparently Weber was targeted as a political favor . He said Weber would eventually absolutely prevail in a federal court if Weber could help pay half the legal fees .Unfortunately 10 years could pass before being awarded any settlement. Weber couldn't stay in NJ another day yet alone be in court a decade with the people who tried to put him ,his wife in prison for a decade .Plus his unborn child until birth.
