The
Children’s Auxiliary of Visiting Nurse Association Health Group (VNAHG) has
begun planning “The Power of the Purse,” a Ladies Night Out and Purse Auction. The event will be held Thursday, May 1, 2014
at 6:30 pm at River House at Rumson Country Club in Rumson, NJ. Tickets
for the event are $125 and include hor d’oeurves, buffet, beer, wine and a
complimentary signature cocktail. The
evening includes a silent and chance auction of beautiful purses and bags from
high-end designers including Tom Ford, Tory Burch, Longchamp, Brooks Brothers
and Cole Haan. Proceeds from the evening will benefit VNA Health Group programs
and services for children, helping to ensure that access to community-based
care is a reality to families in need and providing care to children who are
acutely and chronically ill, have developmental concerns and special needs as
well parenting education and support to first-time, at-risk expectant mothers.
