Red Bank Girls Get Primped for Prom
Seniors were at Salon Red on Shrewsbury Ave. in Red Bank on Friday afternoon.
Jeans and t-shirt girls go into glamour mode when Prom comes around. Before the corsages and the dancing, and even the dresses, comes the salon. And that includes sitting in the salon chair for an hour, sometimes two, as stylists whip long tresses into dramatic up-do's with cascading curls.On Friday, Red Bank Regional seniors Dalaimi de la Cruz and Karina Espana put the ladies at Salon Red on Shrewsbury Ave. to work, pinning and curling their long black locks before the event.The RBR prom will be held at Shore Casino in Atlantic Highlands.
