RED BANK, NJ - The Walt Street Pub located directly across from the Red Bank train station is up for sale. According to commercial real estate website Loopnet, the selling price for the two-story, 4,300-square-foot establishment is $2.6 million, which includes a Class C liquor license and two one-bedroom apartments.

Family owned and operated since 1983, the lively dive once featured cold beer, bar eats, a packed dance floor and weekly musical entertainers such as The Bob Burger Band, according to a TAPInto Red Bank report. The sports bar also touted an array of bar food according to its website, including the “best buffalo wings in town," ranging from “mild” to “killer death.”

Over the course of its near four-decade run, the Monmouth Street location has sponsored a variety of local charities and sports teams including softball leagues, basketball teams and hockey leagues.

A representative from the pub was not available for comment Wednesday. While it’s not immediately clear whether the business ever reopened during the pandemic, a July comment on an Instagram post questioned when the pub would open its doors again. In October, the establishment quietly changed its hours on Facebook to “temporarily closed."
