Red Bank's Cinnamon Snail Voted 4th On Nation's Best Food Truck List

The Daily Meal website allowed readers to vote for their favorite food trucks for this year's survey.

Fans of The Cinnamon Snail food truck at the Red Bank farmers market will be happy to hear that the truck came in at No. 4 in a national readers choice vote on The Daily Meal.

The food-focused website asked for a public vote on the top food trucks in America, and came up with a list of 101 favorites from across the nation, according to a story on the website.

“Food trucks are more than just kitchens on wheels,” the Daily Meal story says. “Even if the buzz around the food truck renaissance started off frenzied and then cooled a bit, the resilience of these mobile eateries is a testament to the fact that creative, quite literally chef-driven food need not be limited to wallet-busting restaurants with month-long waiting lists.”

The Cinnamon Snail was one of two with New Jersey ties on the list. The other, The Taco Truck, has a truck that operates in Hoboken and has several brick-and-mortar locations as well, came in at No. 37.

The Cinnamon Snail is a favorite, the Daily Meal says, of vegan and non-vegan eaters because of items such as fig pancakes with pine nut butter, chamomile blood orange syrup, and roasted almonds, and the article’s author raves about their pastries as well.
