State Aid to Red Bank Schools Up 12.9%
Aid to Red Bank Regional and Shrewsbury flat in 2013-2014.

Red Bank Borough Public Schools will see a 12.9 percent increase in state aid, according to figures released by the New Jersey Department of Education on Thursday.
According to NJ Spotlight, Red Bank's increase makes it one of 30 districts in the state to receive an over 10 percent increase in funding from 2012-2013 to 2013-2014. Overall, the $8.7 billion in state aid announced for 2013-2014 marked a $97.3 million increase over last year.
Red Bank, which received $2.63 million last year, will receive nearly $2.97 million in 2013-2014.

Red Bank Regional's aid remained flat at $995,006, as did Shrewsbury's at $226,157.
