500 Turkeys Needed For Bergen County Families

The office wants to donate 500 turkeys to the Center for Food Action.

The Bergen County Sheriff's Office is collecting 500 turkeys for the Center for Food Action this week.

The office's Community Outreach Unit works to maintain a partnership with the community and to help others and runs the annual turkey drive as a way of furthering that relationship.

"Please consider supporting this humanitarian effort and making this Thanksgiving and the days to follow a memorable experience for families in need," said Anthony Cureton, the sheriff's office public information officer.
