6 New Coronavirus Cases In Ridgewood Public Schools: District

Two people have tested positive for the coronavirus at Ridgewood High, Benjamin Franklin Middle and George Washington Middle, respectively.

RIDGEWOOD, NJ — Six people have tested positive for the coronavirus throughout Ridgewood Public Schools, including two each at Ridgewood High School, George Washington Middle School and Benjamin Franklin Middle School, the district announced.

In a letter from Superintendent Daniel Fishbein, he reported the six total cases, but didn't offer information whether the positive tests were from students or employees.

He did, however, say that the cases were unrelated and "the individuals were not within the school buildings."

This comes as New Jersey reports COVID-19 cases and hospitalizations are up across the state, and the Garden State expanded its state quarantine list to 45, the highest number yet.
