Bergen Woman Accused Of Leaving The Scene Of Ridgewood Hit-And-Run
A 21-year-old woman allegedly tried to hide the car she was driving from police.

An Elmwood Park woman is accused of leaving the scene of a hit-and-run, trying to hide the car she was driving, and driving drunk, NorthJersey.com reported Thursday, citing a statement from the Ridgewood Police Department.
Officer Anthony Mormino responded to the crash on East Saddle River Road just before 7 p.m. Saturday, the website reported.
Officer Keith Killion found the woman’s car on Wall Street; police said the driver and passenger were trying to hide the car in a garage.

The driver is charged with driving while intoxicated, driving while intoxicated in a school zone, and leaving the scene of an accident with injury, among other charges.
Capt. Jacqueline Luthcke could not be reached for comment.
