Hunt Continues For Suicidal, Possibly Armed Ex-Cop In N.J.
Officers searched a half-mile stretch of woods, and a drone search turned up nothing, according to reports.

Police officers from at least 18 agencies converged in New Jersey overnight to search for an ex-cop who is believed suicidal and possibly armed, according to media reports.
Cliffview Pilot and Daily Voice reports said the police officer is wanted on warrants following a domestic incident.
The search conducted by the Bergen County Rapid Deployment Force intensified around 8:30 a.m. Oct. 10 and forced the cancellation of several area events, according to the reports.

Officers searched a half-mile stretch of woods along the railroad tracks for more than seven hours. Daily Voice said Long Island authorities were in touch with N.J. authorities to arrange his surrender to the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office soon after the search ended around 3 p.m.
The man went missing around 1 a.m., Midland Park Police Chief Michael Powderley confirmed to Daily Voice. A drone was sent up and turned up nothing.
