1:04 PM – Following a two-week investigation into a February 17th burglary on the 500 block of Maple Avenue, Det. Lucas Doney arrested a 40-year-old Clifton man. The actor was charged with one count each of Burglary, Theft and Criminal Mischief. He was processed and released pending an appearance before Central Judicial Processing at the Superior Court in Hackensack on March 18th.

The property stolen from the home was returned to the owner and the actor has agreed to pay restitution for the damages done to the home while forcing entry.

11:42 AM – A manager for U-Haul Rental Services reported that a vehicle rented through the Exxon Station at Maple Avenue and Highwood Avenue had not been returned. The truck in question had been rented by a Paramus man and was reported to be more than a month overdue for return. The subject’s credit card had also been declined. Sgt. Bryan Scott was able to locate the man who agreed to provide another form of payment and to return the vehicle, however, he did not do so until March 5th. The rental manager was advised on the procedure to sign a complaint with the Glen Rock Municipal Court should the company desire to do so.
