Car Crashes Through Rita's In Glen Rock, But No Injuries Reported
The store's front window was shattered, and some damage was done to tables and chairs inside, but no injuries were reported, police said.
GLEN ROCK, NJ — Rita's Italian Ice and Frozen Custard on South Maple Avenue got an unexpected guest recently, as a car crashed through the front window of the storefront.
Glen Rock police and firefighters were dispatched to the local haunt on Thursday after a 43-year-old Glen Rock man forgot to put his vehicle in park, causing the car to crash through the front window of the store.
The impact shattered the front window, and damaged some tables and chairs inside, but no injuries were reported, police said.

A health inspector from Bergen County Health Services was also dispatched to the scene to ensure that glass particles hadn't created a food hazard in any storage or preparation areas.
