Car Strikes Ridgewood Girl, 10: Police
BREAKING: The girl was on the sidewalk and ran into the street, police said.

RIDGEWOOD, NJ — A 10-year-old village girl was hit by a vehicle Monday afternoon, police said.
The girl was struck at 3:15 p.m. at the intersection of Northern Parkway and Fairway Road, said police Chief Jacqueline Luthcke.
The girl ran down the sidewalk into the street and was hit by the car, Luthcke said. The girl was taken to Valley Hospital to determine the extent of her injuries.

No summonses were issued to the 20-year-old Ridgewood driver, the chief said.
