The Friends of the Glen Rock Library is collecting the following categories only of gently used books for the Great Book Sale. Acceptable books include: Art, Audio Books, Biography, Children - all categories, Classics, Crafts, Fiction/hard cover and trade backs, Large print books, Film & TV, History [no sets], New Jersey, Special Editions, and Young Adults. We will also accept the following which are 2015 and newer: Business, Ecology and Nature, Political Commentary, and Travel. Hard cover cook books newer than 2012 are preferred. Not included in the sale are CDs, DVDs, VHS and pocket books. Please remember, if you would not want to buy it yourself, recycle it at home.
Drop-off dates/times as follows from February 3 to March 8: Wednesdays from 10am to 8pm, Saturdays from 10am to 4pm and Sundays from 1pm to 4pm. Books must be boxed or bagged and can be left inside the back entrance to the Library.
The Book Sale is scheduled for March 15 - 18, with the Preview on March 14 for Friends Members. Non-members can join at the door. The income from the Sale will benefit the Summer Reading and Museum Pass Programs and the circulating collections.
