Construction Worker Falls From Glen Rock Roof: Police Blotter

A Fairview man fell approximately 25-feet from a Glen Rock roof, suffering "significant trauma" which isn't life threatening, police say.

10:08 a.m. – A Glen Rock woman reported that a fraudulent AT&T account had been opened in her maiden name. The unknown actor had purchased a tablet with a service plan which had been shipped to her former address. The complainant has contacted AT&T to report the fraud.

8:51 a.m. – Patrols and EMS personnel responded to a Pinelynn Road residence after a construction worker had fallen approximately 25 feet from the roof of the home. The worker, a 37-year-old Fairview man, was transported to St. Joseph’s Medical Center in Paterson. The worker suffered significant trauma, which is not considered to be life threatening.

The Glen Rock Building Code Official and a Compliance Safety Officer from OSHA responded to the scene and a subsequent stop work order was issued pending further investigation.

8:47 a.m. – A resident on the 300 block of Harristown Road reported that a vehicle had been stolen from their driveway overnight. The vehicle, a 2018 Honda Odyssey, had been left unlocked in the resident’s driveway with the key fob left inside. A neighbor is checking their home video system to see if any images of the theft may have been captured, otherwise no evidence exists.
