Cooling Centers Open In Bergen County
Temperatures expected to climb to 94 today and 93 Tuesday.

Bergen County has opened four cooling centers in response to the high temperatures forecast for today and Tuesday.
It is supposed to be 94 today and 93 Tuesday, weather.com reported.

- County Administration Building, cafeteria, first floor, One County Plaza, Hackensack, 201-336-7300.
- Northwest Bergen Multipurpose Senior Activity Center, 46-50 Center St., Midland Park, 201-445-5690.
- Bergenfield Senior Center, 239 Murray Hill Terrace, Bergenfield, 201-387-7212.
- Southwest Bergen Multipurpose Senior Activity Center, 147 Hackensack St., East Rutherford, 201-935-8920.
The centers will be open today and most likely Tuesday, officials said, from 8:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. Residents should call the location to make sure it is open before going.
Temperatures are expected to be in the mid 80s the rest of the week. Starting Tuesday night, isolated thunderstorms will move in and will remain a possibility through the rest of the week.

An air quality alert has also been issued for North Jersey.
The air quality alert is set to remain in effect through midnight Monday, forecasters said, as ozone levels are expected to hit 115 in Bergen County Monday, according to the forecast at airnow.gov.
