Cop Armed With Assault Rifle On Ridgewood Street Saturday Night: Police
BREAKING: The cop was allegedly pointing the rifle at a house, one report said.

RIDGEWOOD, NJ — A police officer with an assault rifle took a position behind a police truck on Leonard Place Saturday night, according to a report.
It was not immediately clear what prompted such a police response on the one-way-street Saturday night, NorthJersey.com reported.
Ridgewood Police Chief Jacqueline Luthcke did not respond to a request for comment Sunday.

Glen Rock Police Chief Dean Ackermann said in an email Sunday that Glen Rock Police responded to the scene, but did not comment on the incident.
NorthJersey.com reported that an officer had the assault rifle pointed toward a house and that another officer armed with a pistol was positioned next to him.
