Meeting to discuss maintenance and future development of the Thielke Arboretum

All who are interested in the maintenance  and future development  of the Arboretum in Glen Rock are invited to  a meeting to be held at the Glen Rock Public Library onThursday,  September 6, 2012, at 6:30 PM.

Innovative ideas, fund raising campaign plans, the  current status of the Environmental Education Center,  management plans  and opportunities to assist the Arboretum during this exciting stage of it’s development will be discussed.

Tom Vielbig, President of the Board of Trustees of Friends of the Glen Rock Arboretum, will be present to outline plans for the Fundraising  Campaign for the new Environmental Education  and Visitor’s  Center.

Plans made by the Arboretum Education Team will be available as well as opportunities to get involved in one or more of the Arboretum non-gardening activities.     Volunteers interested in  horticulture and gardening   aspect of the  Arboretum are always welcome.
