The North Jersey Fiber Arts Festival invites crafts fans of all ages to the 4th Annual Festival in Ridgewood, NJ. The festival is extended to three days this year: Friday, October 5 through Sunday, October 7, 2012.
CBS New York named the festival one of "the Best Fall Festivals in New Jersey" in 2011.
"This event brings together artists and vendors from all the fiber arts including knitting, spinning, quilting, rug hooking and more," explains Festival Chair Anne Smith. She invites all to join the North Jersey Fiber Arts Festival on Facebook and to follow the festival on Twitter.

"We have some favorites returning and also exciting new vendors this year," she adds. Workshops will include Button Making; Knitting Mittens; Expert Tips and Simple Saves for Knitters; Knitting Cables; Knitting in the Round; Knooking--Knitting with a Crochet Hook; Modular Knitting; Combining Knit and Crochet; Rug Hooking and Kitchen-Table Felting.
Beginning knitting and crochet lessons will be offered, as well as demonstrations of all fiber arts.

The North Jersey Fiber Arts Festival sponsors an annual charity project that weaves the festival into the interdependent web of the world’s community. Instructions for the 2012 project, preemie hats and blankets for local hospitals, are available at the festival website.
