RIDGEWOOD VETS FIELD RAKE-A-THON SUNDAY AT 4 PM
The Ridgewood Soccer Association needs volunteers to help rake the soccer field at Vets field on Sunday at 4:00 pm so that the fields can be used for weekday training clinics commencing on Monday September 19. Volunteers will help clear small debris from the field to help make it ready for use by our many soccer programs.
The President has declared Sunday a national day of service. This project provides us with the opportunity to give back to our community in a way that will directly benefit our children. Please join us even if you can spare only 30 minutes of your time. RSA will provide certifications to any students who want to help out and get hours for school service projects.
WHERE: Vets Soccer Field (located at Maple and Linwood, behind the Municipal Building)
WHEN: 4:00pm Sunday, September 11
WHAT TO BRING: any of the following--rakes, gas powered blowers (and gas cans), gloves, tarps, garbage bags or brown recycling bags, drinks, sense of community
