Family Chiropractors Of Ridgewood Celebrate 30 Years In The Village

Family Chiropractors of Ridgewood, a successful partnership between lifelong friends Mary Ann Fiscella and Louise DiGia, celebrated 30 years of practice in the Village with a June 3rd carnival for patients and friends, on the back lot of their offices, at 89 North Maple Avenue, Ridgewood.

The celebration included complimentary refreshments, music, health and information booths, chair massage, a yoga mini-class and children’s carnival games, with attendees enjoying the perfect weather.
Additionally, over 200 pounds of canned and packaged foods were donated by attendees for the Social Services Association of Ridgewood.
The practice grew out of the partners’ desire for work-life balance, explained Doctor Fiscella. “Louise and I were friends in high school, and although we went to different colleges, we both planned on careers in chiropractic. But, after working as associates for a year, we were stuck on how to open our own practices, because we both planned to get married and have children. The solution was to partner up, and so have the freedom to take time off, knowing that my patients would be well taken care of by Louise, and vice versa.”
Fiscella, the mother of two, and DiGia, mother of three, have had smooth sailing in business (and happy marriages) ever since.

Both doctors have been members of the Ridgewood Chamber of Commerce for 30 years, and remain active in community events, often holding fundraisers for local organizations.
