Final Ridgewood Budget Meeting Set For Tonight

The third and final Ridgewood budget meeting is scheduled for 5 p.m. this evening

The meeting agenda states that likely topics to be covered in this meeting include identifying more definite numbers for each department, and a discussion of revenue, the library and parking utilities.

There will also be two opportunities for public comments, before and after the discussion. Contributions are not to exceed 5 minutes per person.

Key developments between the first two meetings included a $700,000 reduction of the capital budget, bringing the total to $3,194,000, according to a NorthJersey.com report.

The village hopes to publish the final budget by April 22, the report states.
