Fire Rips Through Ridgewood's La Bella Pizza

RIDGEWOOD, N.J. — A fire ripped through La Bella Pizza Saturday afternoon, severely damaging the King's Shopping Center business. However, firefighters were able to present the fire from spreading to adjacent businesses, The Record reported.

The business was closed for the day and no one was injured in the blaze, Fire Capt. Greg Hillerman said in the report.

Firefighters first got the report at 1:47 p.m., according to the report, and firefighters were at the scene less than three minutes later.

It was an electrical fire, Hillerman said in the report; the pizza parlor was seriously damaged and Maggie Moo's and H&R Block suffered smoke damage.
