Firefighters Battle Two-Alarm Fire In Resident's Kitchen Sunday Morning: Report

Ridgewood firefighters quickly extinguished a two-alarm fire that broke out in a village home kitchen Sunday morning.
The fire, which authorities responded to at 11:22 a.m., damaged several appliance and did not spread to the rest of the still-habitable Beveridge Road residence, NorthJersey.com reported.
Firefighters were at the scene until shortly after noon, Ridgewood Fire Department Capt. Scott Schmidt told the website, and the homeowner was examined for smoke inhalation; no firefighters were injured.
