Free Dog Microchipping Offered In Ridgewood Wednesday

Free rabies shots will be available as well.

RIDGEWOOD, NJ — Free rabies shots and microchips will be available for village dogs Wednesday.

The rabies clinic and microchipping event is at the Graydon Pool parking lot from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m.; rabies vaccinations are required in order for dogs to be registered and licensed with their hometown.

Owners must present proof that a licensed veterinarian has administered a rabies vaccination.

Dog licenses must be renewed by June 30. Owners will be charged a $20 late fee for all renewals received after that date.
