GLEN ROCK, NJ — The League of Women Voters of Glen Rock has announced this year’s “Candidates’ Night,” an evening to hear candidates’ positions on town issues in advance of the November mayor/council election.

The forum for the mayoral and council candidates will be held on Oct. 3 at 7 p.m. at Glen Rock Borough Hall. The YouTube link is here.

The League noted that four council candidates — Jim Garofalo, Amy Martin, John Murray, and Regina Viadro — are running for two open three-year council positions.

The League won't sponsor a school board forum as the race is uncontested, they said. The Board of
Education has three open seats with three candidates running: Ed Hayward, Dr. Damali Robinson, and Elizabeth Calvez.

In addition to the in-person event, Candidates’ Nights will be livestreamed on GRTV Channel 77 (Cablevision), Channel 32 (FIOS), League of Women Voters of Glen Rock Facebook page, and the League’s YouTube channel.

The taped broadcast of Candidates Nights will be available the following day on Glen Rock TV’s Vimeo Channel and the

YouTube channel.

The League also had planned to register young voters at the local high school this past Tuesday, Sept. 19.

The League said:
