Glen Rock Couple Has Cellphones 'Compromised' In Fraud: Police
A Glen Rock resident reported that fraudulent transactions on his bank account were made in both New York City and Florida, police said.
GLEN ROCK, NJ — Two Glen Rock residents were the victims of fraud after seeing payments they didn't make come across their bank account. They told police that, in the process, their cellphones were "compromised."
A Glen Rock resident reported that fraudulent transactions on his Chase Bank account were made in both New York City and Orlando, Florida.
The bank determined that the transactions in New York were attempted by an unknown actor with fraudulent identification in the victim’s name, police said.

During this same period the victim and his wife both found that their cellphones had been compromised, and were used in accessing his bank account, police said.
Bank officials have been notified and are investigating. The detective bureau is currently reviewing the matter as well, police said.
