Glen Rock Editor Named High School Journalist Of The Year

Lilia Wood will receive the $5,000 Bernard Kilgore Memorial Scholarship and is in the running for a national award.

GLEN ROCK, NJ - Lilia Wood, editor in chief of the Glen Echo student newspaper of Glen Rock High School, has been named the New Jersey Journalist of the Year.

The award is one of several awarded by the New Jersey Press Foundation.

Wood will also receive the $5,000 Bernard Kilgore Memorial Scholarship.

With the win, Wood will be entered to win the National High School Journalist of the Year, which is administered by the Journalism Education Association.
