Glen Rock Elementary Schools Dismissed Early Due To Heat
Breaking: The National Weather Service is forecasting a high of 94 degrees, and a heat index of a high as 100.
GLEN ROCK, NJ — Borough elementary schools will be dismissed early due to the hot temperatures forecast to blanket North Jersey Monday.
Elementary schools will be dismissed at 12:33 p.m., school officials announced. The middle and high schools will be dismissed at regular times. The after care program, transitional kindergarten class, and middle and high school sports practices are also cancelled.
The National Weather Service is forecasting a high of 94 degrees, and a heat index of a high as 100. A heat advisory is in effect until 8 p.m.
