Glen Rock High, Middle School Closed After Positive COVID Test

Students will learn virtually for two weeks, but athletics will continue, the district announced.

GLEN ROCK, NJ — Glen Rock High School and Glen Rock Middle School will be closed for in-person learning for two weeks after a teacher tested positive for the coronavirus, the district announced.

Virtual instruction began Monday and continues until Nov. 25, with students expected to return Nov. 30, following Thanksgiving break. Athletics and other after school activities will not be affected, the district said.

The teacher was last present in the district on Nov. 10, according to the letter, but contact tracers "determined that it is highly likely that the teacher contracted COVID-19 outside of school."
